A group of researchers is working to monitor and calculate the planet Earth's limits for growth or the nine planetary boundaries. How important is overconsumption of resources? How bad is the pollution in the world? What are the biggest challenges in relation to climate, biodiversity, deforestation and emissions of nitrogen and phosphorus?
Professor Kathrine Richardson from the University of Copenhagen's Sustainability Science Center takes the temperature of the Earth's development and reaches a surprising conclusion. Science journalist Jens Degett from Science Stories interviews her (in Danish).
