[Rerun] Are we close to finding life beyond Earth?

Over the last few years thousands of new planets have been discovered, and astronomers have found several planets with a similar size and distance from their local star as Earth. At the same time, the pursuit of life in our own Solar System is intensifying, where Mars is to be seriously explored by the new Perseverance Rover. But Mars is just one of several candidates where we could find life beyond Earth.

Science Journalist Jens Degett from Science Stories has spoken to Professor Kai Finster from the Department of Bioscience at Aarhus University (in Danish).
