Fermi Bubbles
In 2010, astronomers from the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope announced the discovery of two giant bubbles with a massive 25,000 light years, centered at the core of the Milky Way, but new discoveries have helped shed more light on this unique phenomenon, which is only observed in our own galaxy.
Morten Remar has met with Master's student Klara Karlsmose from the Physics Department at Aarhus Univeristy, for help in understanding these mysterious bubbles.
